Development Goals
The PCWSDA has an excellent loan portfolio and has achieved three years of positive net income. Even though it has quadrupled its number of clients since 2006, it is still covering only about 5 percent of the loan demand in the county. In order to make loans available to a good portion of the other 95%, the PCWSDA will need to considerably expand its scope of operations by obtaining additional capital in addition to donations. It will also need to expand its trained loan staff and broaden its loan types and services.
maintain self-sustaining operations by generating sufficient revenues to cover operating costs;
continue to strengthen the capabilities of its management and staff, and expand operations into more villages and townships;
improve its governance to optimize effectiveness and ensure accountability; and
obtain additional loan capital from domestic and international sources in a responsible way.
